A mischievous smile crossed Eriol’s face. “I didn’t know if you were going to pick up on that, but it seems you have. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, however. It’s true that some of them were quite comical. Making them amusing where and when possible was a personal choice of mine. I suppose there is no reason aside from it being so fun to do.”
Tomoyo wondered how Eriol could be so mature yet so immature at the same time. Still, it was one of the things she loved about him.
Syaoran cleared his throat. "Anyway... when are the fireworks?"
"They're starting pretty soon."
"Let's find a spot to watch!" Sakura exclaimed.
