She doesn’t want to ruin the ball for her youngest daughter, Sillabub, though. But when cats begin to go missing, the Jellicles might have to resort to drastic measures to keep the situation from worsening.

Now that he thought about it he did remember Munkustrap telling him that he had picked up knitting as a hobby some time ago. Something about Jenny wanting the Jellicle Protector to relax more and teaching him the craft herself. Tugger had teased him for it for a little bit, but he didn’t remember hearing anything about it after that. It looked like Munk had been knitting stuff for others in the meantime.
(Or, Munkustrap knits sweaters for the Jellicles and Tugger suffers.)

Despite the sadness in his past, Tugger finds himself happy and in love with his wonderful new mate Mistoffelees. But when Macavity reappears and threatens everything he holds dear, Tugger is pushed to his absolute limit, and comes to realise he must confront the past in order to save his future.

Munkustrap and Tugger's relationship had never run smooth, mostly thanks to their very different personalities, but when Tugger takes an interest in the newly arrived nephew of the esteemed Bustopher Jones things get complicated. Quaxo himself has little interest in making friends. All he wants to do is to look after his twin sister and keep his magic hidden, he didn't think that was too much to ask. But things get even more complicated when even more new arrivals show up, this time with links to the long banished Macavity. Despite this the Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat who just can't help but get involved, and it turns out Munkustrap isn't so different to him after all. And we all know what they say about cats and curiosity.

But while Victoria is settled and happy with her new friends amongst the kittens, Quaxo is less sure of his place. He can't allow himself to become a liability. So having a crush on the Rum Tum Tugger is just the worst. Too bad that his means of protecting himself from Tugger's attentions are only increasing them.
