Summary
Each day for an unresting immortal felt fleeting and insignificant. There was no beginning, nor end; only an endless existence without purpose or reason. Those bound to the shackles of life and death inevitably wonder and grasp for the impossible, wishing to prolong the final destination. They believe immortality is the essence of true happiness, seeking to immortalize themselves in their life’s work which eventually will be consumed by the vacuum of their own faults. Watching men, women, children live in the moment on a daily basis was far more entertaining, following a path from birth to death felt like a blink for an eternal being. Witnessing many rise and fall to their own insecurities, their own pride, their own sins was far more pleasurable than it would ever have imagined.
Pure humans did not exist. They did not live without sin, no matter the saint. And yet...
