Summary
After narrowly avoiding a deadly Agni Kai with his father, Zuko flees to the Earth Kingdom. Years of searching for justice turn to disillusionment, and Zuko settles in Dangshu, where he becomes a quiet librarian by the name of Lee, far removed from the war.
Sokka is accidentally swept up in the flood from the dam explosion at Gaipan and is presumed dead. Alone and without direction, he stumbles upon Dangshu Library, which gives him the opportunity to research new tactics for the war effort while he recovers and waits for his friends. There, he meets Lee, a librarian who harbors a deep resentment for the Fire Nation.
Together, they change the course of the war.

After convincing Wan Shi Tong to allow them to explore the Library, the Gaang stumbles into the Spirit's Librarian, who happens to be an awkward, scarred, very-passionate-about-knowledge teenager.

After Zuko gets banished, he ends up in Wan Shi Tong's Library. Wan Shi Tong, respectfully, says "fuck it" and claims him - sorry, *adopts. Now, Zuko spends his days in the Library, indulging his inner theatre kid and learning about anything he can. Then, three years later, the Gaang drops in.
