Summary
Lycaon bent down to pick the card up from where it landed. He flipped it over in his hand, reading the words he knew all too well.
“Yours truly, Mockingbird”
“What happened in here?” Lycaon looked back towards Ellen behind him. “And what’s that?” She asked nonchalantly, taking a lollipop out of her mouth and pointing it towards the card he was holding.
Lycaon stared at the chocolate coin on the windowsill before picking it up and pocketing it along with the card. “Just a nuisance.” Ellen looked confused by the answer but didn’t question it.

Mockingbird's heist on Victoria Housekeeping's current client seems...suspicious. It feels less like an attack on the rich target themselves and more like an overly convoluted way of getting under Lycaon's skin. But Hugo's dramatic stunt does a little more than ruffle the wolf's fur--it sends Lycaon spiraling over his past mistakes and conflicting emotions and somehow ends with Hugo on top of him.
