Summary
There is a tale.
A fable.
That still circulates the halls of MIT. Despite the fact that none of the Alumni has ever stepped forward to validate any part of said story publicly.
The story is of an incident involving one of their brightest, a simple baked quick bread and the spectacular disaster of a failure that was created when they came together.
Many chose not to believe it.
And yet the muffins were still burnt.
