Primus was all knowing maybe, but just like he said, he wasn’t all powerful. Primus couldn’t send him back. But Sam could.
Worst case scenario, he evaporates into nothingness, but at least that would be better than spending an eternity here, watching everyone he loves die, watching as another version of himself enjoys everything he had been fighting for.
Was it dramatic? Probably. But Sam was young, he was meant to be dramatic. And for his family, he’s done crazier things.
Or: Sam gets transported to the Transformers Prime universe and ends up messing up fate's plans for its inhabitants, for the better, or for the worse.

One terribly thought out Brainstorm/Perceptor experiment later and they pull the scavengers in to discover the one and only Optimus Prime. Except, he isn't their one and only, he's some other dimensions one and only Optimus Prime, and he isn't thrilled to be here.

1. He had stupidly grown attached to him!
Primus, they were pathetic, Starscream thought exasperatedly. Megatron for being so soft and mellow, and him for abandoning his own desires in putting up with it. Any other Decepticon would be more than happy to bend him over the nearest available surface and take out four million years of pent up frustrations on him. But he didn't want anyone else. He wanted Megatron.
Megatron kissed him again, tongue sliding past his lips and into his mouth. Starscream curled his arms around him neck and pulled him close as they rocked together. Pleasure built steadily at the predictable in-out slide of Megatron's generous spike. Starscream's valve fluttered with a light but pleasant overload and he squeezed Megatron tighter with a muffled moan.
It wasn't bad. It was never bad. But it was soporific and unimaginative, and Starscream knew he'd bore of it soon. Perhaps bore of Megatron too.
His spark clenched at the horrible thought.
2. Starscream slumped back in resignation, using his own imagination to make things more interesting. Megatron was a wonder at eating valve, his reputed silver tongue living up to it's hype -if only he was a little rougher. Starscream fantasied about those big hands squeezing his thighs hard enough to dent them, shuddered at the thought of one coming down on his aft in a stinging slap. Maybe pulling in his wings. Maybe squeezing around his throat-
He overloaded again, and Megatron's contented purr reverted through him. He laid sprawled across the sheets as Megatron lifted his head and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. "That was quick," he said, with a hint of self-satisfaction.
No thanks to you, Starscream thought grumpily, rolling onto his front and scowling into his pillow.
He would have liked to hold onto that resentment and fallen into recharge with frustrated fantasies about winding Megatron up enough that he finally did something to put him back in his place, but his ignorant leader curled up behind him like the incorrigible teddy bear he was, curling his arms around Starscream and nosing at the back of his neck.
Starscream's spark throbbed and he hissed a curse as he laid his arms over the top of Megatron's to keep him there, craving his touch in whatever form it came.
What kind of idiot valued emotional ties over good sex anyway?
3. The honest truth was; Megatron wasn't bad in berth. Quite the opposite in fact. He was -though Starscream would rather die than admit it- the best he had ever had. And it was probably that infallible skill that kept Starscream from imploding from sexual frustration over the months and months of unfavourable technique. He had never been with someone who could make him overload without having to resort to absolutely pounding him through a berth.
But that didn't mean he didn't miss it.
He was content most days to be fragged nice and slow, but there were nights where his thoughts ran wild and chaotic and there was little but mind-blowing, stasis-inducing fragging that could shut the blasted thing down.
4. There was pressure as it pushed against his rim for a moment, until the silicone finally gave and the broad, blunt head popped past the first ring of mesh. Starscream gasped sharply, and then found himself unable to take another breath as Megatron continued to press into him, sinking in ridge by ridge, spreading him open and filling him up with an unrelenting pressure that felt like it was pushing out his cockpit just to make room inside him.
Starscream began to lean away from it as it became too much, but Megatron held onto his wing, stopping him.
"Don't run from me. Take it like a good seeker," he said, and pulled him back to him with a sharp yank, gaining back ground and then some as he impaled Starscream on his spike.
Starscream howled a curse as every sensor burst to life all at once. Spots of colour exploded before his optics, leaving him dizzy and delirious with overwhelming sensation. It was rough and raw and everything he could have asked for. He choked on a broken sob that only barely resembled Megatron's name.
Feeling merciful, Megatron had paused inside him, giving him a moment to recollect himself.

1. Starscream was late into his third carrying now, far too late for stressful situations. Late enough that Megatron was sure the slightest nudge was going to send him into an emergence.
"What are you two doing?" He folded his arms over his elegant cockpit, tilting his helm.
Megatron straightened under his gaze, giving Mission a warning look to keep quiet.
"I was just pressing upon your son the need for manners." He glared at the youngling, and with the worst acting anyone had ever seen, adopted an authoritative tone. "Don't interrupt me when I'm on the comm, Mission."
Mission just sneered at him. Brat.
"When are you going to have the sparkling?" Mission asked Starscream, innocently questioning.
"Soon." Starscream squinted, suspicious of his interest. "Why?"
"Because you're going to need to replace-"
Megatron wrapped his arm around Mission's entire helm and muffled his smart little mouth. "Mmph!"
"He wants to replace the berth in his room." Megatron invented, fighting back a wince when denta sunk into his arm where Mission bit him like a caged animal.
Starscream shrugged, unbothered by their behaviour, not that it was unusual. "Where's Thrax?"
"With your trine." Megatron lied again, anything to stop Starscream panicking and becoming upset enough to go into an emergence on the bridge. Again. It was hardly the place for it. Again.
"They're supposed to be on guard duty."
"They can guard too things at once, can't they?"
Starscream hummed, unconvinced. "I need to fuel him-"
"Of course," Megatron nodded, like that was no big deal. "I'll bring him to you."
2. "Does Megatron know you are here?"
"Sah!" Thrax's face brightened at the mentioned of his sire. He clapped in approval. "Ahz pay wid sah?"
"Yes," Soundwave agreed for the sake of keeping him happy. "I'm sure Megatron will be happy to entertain you once I have flown you back to the Nemesis."
"Fy!" Thrax pulled himself upright and started his wobbling excited way towards the flight deck, clearly intent on piloting himself. "Az fy, wav!"
"Thrax; unauthorised to pilot this ship." Soundwave called after him.
Much like his creator, Thrax ignored him.
Soundwave glanced at the waiting explosives, the abandoned mine, the security risk they posed, and where the stowaway sparkling had fled to. He didn't have to guess as to which one Megatron would deem a priority.
3. He wasn't able to reject the idea, the growing worry, that his sparkling might be with mechs worse than Autobots.
He reached his quarters and took a deep breath. Mission twisted in his arms and together they shared a look of equal apprehension.
"I'm sorry I lost him again." Mission said.
Megatron squeezed him, setting a frown on his face. "It wasn't your fault." But was unable to resist adding a quiet, "this time." At the end.
Mission tried to squash one of his goodies against the side of his face.
Avoiding that and confiscating the rest, Megatron pressed the keypad and walked them both towards their certain doom-
-only to find Starscream sat on the end of their berth, Thrax in his lap.
Megatron almost dropped Mission out of pure unadulterated relief.

Optimus didn’t recognize the new streets of the suburbs his building was in - New Iacon was strange and disorienting, just a step to the left of his former home. The Hall of Records - gone. Maccadam’s old oilhouse - gone. His former street had been rubble long before the war had reached the stars.

Because that money was earned off-world and during the war, new Cybertron hadn’t considered it when writing their first tax and trading laws. Optimus Prime has a plan: first, legally define Functionist-derived assets, income earned from capital ‘entrusted by the institution of the Primacy’. Second, call on the Primacy’s power to retract that grant, thereby stripping those individuals of the endowed capital. The issue? Most of those grants were made by the joint power of the Prime and Lord High Protector.
