Summary
After the events of Transformers: Prime, Starscream is beaten to near-death by Predaking, leaving him completely blind. When a ground bridge suddenly opens in front of him, Starscream takes the chance at rescue and crawls through, only to find himself on the Nemesis with the remaining Autobots. Supplies are limited, and Starscream is forced to live without optics until a suitable replacement set is discovered or built from scratch. Alone, blind, without a leader to serve (or overthrow), or even a war to fight anymore, Starscream is left completely powerless for the first time, having no choice but to submit to the Autobots or take his chances on the ruins of Cybertron. Optimus Prime is dead, but the Autobots honor his spark by giving the seeker one final chance to change his ways, as they know he would have. Starscream, stripped of all of his power, is forced to face what is left, finding nothing but a husk of the mech he was before the war. Is it truly possible to change after losing so much? Or is he doomed to repeat his past mistakes?

It turns out, the Decepticons infiltrated the Autobots’ ship, but they all passed out from the impact of the crash. Now, they were out of the rubble, and were now walking on a planet full of promise. The Decepticons would soon rise again!
Shockwave continued to contact the Nemesis to give scheduled reports on energon supply, inventions, and the creeping increase of Autobot activity on Cybertron. Megatron was not the only Decepticon who answered his comms — far from it.

Orion Pax had been hurrying out of the Archive and back to his dock for his shift when an ancient artifact, propulsed by the explosion of Sentinel Prime (with a little too much speed to be completely believable, but then again, the Matrix of Leadership was known to do strange things to fundamental physics on occasion), sailed it's way from the Primal Palace Entrance and directly into his chestplates.
Primus, it seemed, had seen a chance to get a new, better Prime to serve his children in the explosive assassination of his unchosen Prime. There was Civil War to avert, and nothing short of the most optimal Prime would do.
The Matrix was a mysterious artifact for a reason. It also never was as powerful as when the very fate of Cybertron hung in the balance. Poised on the edge of the destruction of Cybertronian Civilisation, as it was then, as it had been back during the Quintesson Invasion, the Vessel of Primus could do miracles.

Summary
Cybertron is dangerously close to war with its colony planets after many of them fell lock-step behind Pyroxus, one of the first planets to be successfully colonized by the supremacist Nova Prime before his mysterious disappearance. Pyroxus has an abundance of energon thanks to its proximity to the Kamacite asteroid belt, and has found ways to throw its weight around, much to the chagrin of the Senate. In reaction to the growing union of colonies, the senate has staged Nominus Prime's assasination, blaming it on domestic terrorism, in order to replace the docile prime with one who would wield the strength to rule, raising the status of Prime out of the ceremonial and back into a position of power. They did not foresee their favored weapon choosing to instead protect himself to fight terrorism at home. Meanwhile, the senate's very own chief medical officer risks incurring senate wrath in opening an underground clinic in a district of Rodion the locals have dubbed "the Dead End." Orion Pax, an archivist by spark, but lower level officer by function, hounds a new threat rising in the dark underbelly of Cybertron's cities. A young, homeless mech fights for survival. And a poet weaves dreams of peace into nightmares of war.

Summary
Split from his brothers at birth, Star has walked a lonesome path in his young life until one day he stumbles across a group of unique Cybertronians with the ability to fly. Fascinated by these people and their culture, Star urges his Tarn-raised Mentor, Cryak, to see if he can learn anymore about his ancestors. While Tarn and Vos are on the brink of war, Star begins to recieve horrible nightmares and visions which cannot be explained. One day, he is rescued from Tarn by the very Seeker Overlords he was taught to fear. Only after he's been brought into their world does Star begin to realise just who he really is and the bond he's missed out on. Growing up alongside noble warriors, Star chooses a name for himself and grows to confide in brothers and sisters alike. All seems well until the day he meets a Tarnbot by the name "Megatron". From there, Cybertron is slowly thrust into a war and as sides are chosen, Starscream begins to lose everything he's worked so hard to have; including his family.
Now overcome with hatred and destined for a life of revenge, Starscream is faced with no other choice but the one Megatron offers him; join the Decepticons or die.

He could hear him speaking, but the words didn’t process. Starscream was preoccupied with other thoughts, with a realization: he had to be the best. He would work until he was falling into pieces if it meant he’d get to be at the top, to be the leader of the high guard, to be Megatronus Prime’s right-hand man.
