Summary
There was no doubt in Firefly’s mind that this was the strangest, most nonsensical, deadliest day of her entire life. It had all started the same as usual. Wake up, feed her cat, go to school, try not to fall asleep during her teacher’s classes, chat with her friends about where to go in the afternoon.
“Run for your life from the giant blue beetle and the insect swarm of near-biblical proportions” was not on her to-do list.
At least it wasn’t until today, the cluster of flying monstrosities appearing out of nowhere over the city and blotting out the afternoon sun. That by itself would be cause for panic and questioning which Aeon had decided to plunge her life into absolute chaos.
Probably Aha.
(Or, the author indulges his hyperfixations and puts Stelle and Firefly in a scenario based on the first episode of Buddy Complex, which is also where the first part of the title comes from.)
