Summary
Adam didn’t know how to stop the weird, ugly, swampy feeling in his head. The feeling that would come when his dad refused to look at him in the eyes, the feeling when he failed another fucking test at school because the words didn’t make sense.
He thought being with Eric would make it stop, he was happy now and Dad was gone and he was getting help with school.
But the feeling was everywhere now, it didn’t leave.
And then he was on a bridge, and he was crying and Eric was gone and…
And, well, it just seemed like the logical next step to bleach his hair, blow all of his money on cheap eyeliner & spray-paint and then deface his dad’s car.

Summary
Adam frowned, he could feel his throat tightening “I can’t cry, it means I am weak.”
Ola shook her head and tightened her hold on his knee “No Adam, it means the exact opposite. It means you’re not scared of your emotions, of facing them, of being a human being and of being vulnerable.”
He exhaled shakily, his vision was becoming blurry.
“And trust me, you feel better after a good cry”
He looked at Ola’s blurry face, he should really blink the tears away so they wouldn’t spill out of his eyes but he was exhausted. What if she was right? What if it was okay to cry? What if that was exactly what he needed? What if he did feel a bit better after?
Or
After the breakup, Adam finds support in people he wouldn't have expected and goes on a journey to find himself.
