‘Oh, amazing, it got worse,' He sarcastically thought to himself, as another loud crack boomed through the room, leaving a blazing white streak across the night sky. He felt like such a loser, which, to be fair, wasn't a new feeling for him. However, this feeling wasn't like before. He would usually have Michael to laugh things off with but... he was knocked out. He felt the fear creep up his spine, and he cursed under his breath.
Another roar of thunder that was, of course, followed by the crackle across the sky caused Jeremy's fear to intensify. He felt the child-like urge to scream, to cry, to hide under the covers...

"Jeremy was sitting, curled up in a bathroom stall. He can hardly remember what triggered it this time. All he knew was that it was a bad Squip day. It couldn’t do anything anymore, technically, but it could fight and scream and yell so that’s what it did. Every single tic and fidget was chastised and scolded. Every word and thought was examined and deemed inadequate. The Squip used to shock him every time he didn’t listen (or, more accurately, obey), but now it couldn’t hurt him, not physically at least. But boy did it hurt mentally. There were some days where after school Jeremy was so exhausted from fighting his own brain that he collapsed the second he got home. Other days he felt he had no choice but to harm himself, to shut up the screaming voice in his head, the overwhelming sensation of the Squip was too much to bear.
So here he was, sitting on the floor in the disgusting bathroom stall, knees up to his chest and eyes squeezed shut."
