“Todays assignment is to explain how the past has affected you today” Aizawa says in his very tired voice.
Everyone else seemed to have taken it lightly but at that izukus heart stopped beating. Middle school quickly came into his mind taking all his attention away from his notes. “That means in middle school right?” Izuku asks still a little bit on edge about what he’s about to do.
“Yes, problem child, it does” says Aizawa a bit more tiredly but enough for Izuku to notice. Izukus heart drops.
“Tell them the truth” says that little voice in the back of his head always trying to convince him of something. “YOUR SO USELESS DEKU!” That’s Kacchans voice, it”s always just there. “IT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER FOR EVERYONE IF YOU JUST JUMPED” this time none of the voices quiet down, its like they get louder- no, more enthusiastic. He has to say something. “Can i go first?,” Izuku stands up. (well there’s no backing down now that I started) “I’ve been going through something, ever since my quirk diagnosis day, i been going through something… be afraid”
