Summary
Midoriya Izuku was told his entire life that he couldn't be a hero because he was Quirkless. Apparently, he wasn't good enough or something, which was just stupid. Even if he did want to become a hero, he would have to do so much unnecessary work, just because no one believed he could do it in the first place.
So, he takes an easier option, and becomes the vigilante Rook. And maybe the informant and hacker Checkmate. Hey, he never said he made all these vigilante personas on purpose.
Along with Shinsou Hitoshi as Mockingbird, and Hatsume Mei as Magpie (and various others), he's got all the backup he'll need to show the world that he can do it. And if he just so happens to dismantle society's perspective along the way, well, it's their own fault for thinking that way in the first place.
Featuring a few extra vigilantes who will be revealed later on, a scheming principal who knows everything but is still baffled by the entire situation, a mysterious older brother who does as he likes, an exasperated lie detector, and the world's most exhausted Underground Hero who would very much like his idiot problem children to go home, because they're too short to be in this much danger.
