Summary
In the course of an experiment conducted by Sucrose, unfortunate things happen: Timaeus dies and Sucrose is lost on what to do. She ends up at Albedo's doors, who assures her that everything will be fine. They take Timaeus' body to Dragonspine, hoping for a crime scene to never be discovered. But the snow-peak mountain has other plans in mind. The blood-soaked soil nourishes something neither of the alchemists expected.
“Sucrose…” Albedo murmured, quickly crossing the distance between them. He gently pulled her head up, cupping it between his hands. “Don’t think about it, okay?” It was hard for him to understand the complexity of guilt and what it entailed for someone like Sucrose, but one thing that he knew was that he hated to see her cry over it.
