Summary
This is a tale of travelling.
In the last couple of months, the world that Alec Lightwood and his friends once took for granted has fallen apart. Starting to question things they have once taken for granted, the history of their people and even the purpose of their entire existence, they are finding themselves in a precarious position with powerful allies as well as powerful enemies.
Aware that they need to fill the gaps in their knowledge, they set out to investigate, collecting scraps of information that is scattered around the world. Time is short, however, and their enemy starts targeting their friends.
Desperate times require desperate measures, and their travels take a turn none of them expected. In a place that is as familiar to them as it is strange, they meet both allies and enemies that are both new and old, strikingly familiar and utterly strange to them.Series
