Summary
Palette is being haunted by nightmares of drowning an in ocean so black it stains his very hands, after months of the same dream it starts to wear him down. He finally has enough and decides to steal Ink’s broom and start off on his first adventure. He has no idea where he’s going or why this crown is haunting him, but he is determined to find the owner of the crown.
After finding out a truth that his father had been hiding for him, Palette’s goal changes.
His goal is to bring his uncle home.

Basically, after years of stress upon Palette's soul, her body finally snapped and caused a curroption. Because of this, she was forced bed bound within her own home, attatched to an IV. But, someone she least expected appeared. And he was rather late.

The Check hovers in front of them, mocking. Because this isn’t just Dream’s kid. It’s Ink’s kid as well. His kid - his son, according to the Check - pulls on Ink’s face. Ink lowers their head, allowing his son to stick his little fist into their eye socket. His baby coos and giggles in awe.
Ink thinks that this is the most scared he has ever been.
