No, she left less than a week ago for a long term assignment. Nellie consequently loses her nerve, and ends up walking away. Thankfully, she’s a skilled seamstress and able to get a job in town working for Varice.
Only, a wizard named Olbric starts showing up to help out at the shop, and it’s only a matter of time before Nellie’s magical secret is revealed. But she’s been making friends all summer long, and the idea of magical study is a lot less intimidating by Harvest.
Of course, her budding friendship with Thermilious Maxwell is proving to be the start of her newest secret, especially once she’s officially an adept wizard. After all, who would expect the King and a Seamstress to have met at all, much less become good friends who happen to regularly fuck? It's certainly something to keep on the downlow, if they want to prevent it from becoming everyone else's business!
