Summary
“Stanford Pines, WHAT in the name of P.T. Barnum do you think you're doing?!”
“It’s a portion of the lever!” He shouted back down while attempting to connect the top of the handle onto the rest of it. There was no sign of rust or decay, so it must have been cut off and neatly too!
“It means...” Ford indignantly turned on his foot to look his brother in the eyes. “It implies something went in, which implies something may have come out! Ooh, I do not want to back down there to check, Ley! This is bad.”
“Why, what’s down there?”
“A very pissed-off shapeshifter.”
“And why is it pissed-off exactly?” sounded like it had the foresight that it was kind of his fault.
He sighed down to the plaid pattern on the blanket.
“B-because...” sheepishly mumbled down at his shoes, “because I tested on it since birth.”
“Yup, sounds about right. Well, come on, then!”

Summary
Call him crazy, but the air has felt clearer since that late afternoon adventure with Stanley and the Cubitum Serpentibus just two days ago. Despite the pseudo-silent treatment or the occasional side-eye or just the straight-up ignoring each other, somehow it was easier to breathe around him if they weren’t actually screaming at each other or being threatened by a maniacal Probabilitor.
Perhaps it really was just him!
[...]
His eyes sank shut to an even darker blackness than the apparent early morning hour. Something leapt somewhere in his peripheral nervous system from the reminder of a solid black place behind his eyelids. Dealing with the past 40 years was much easier yesterday. How could anyone hold a family member accountable for an unforgiving and dangerous decision and yet thank them for saving their lives without getting emotional after to day ?!

Summary
"There was a stillness to the night. Stanford Pines was not used to stillness. He was used to racing thoughts, hours spent in the rustle of paper. He was used to the sound of blood pounding in his ears, phasers streaking past his head, the tortured cries of enemy and ally alike. He was used to the hum of the porthole in the background, the whispered words of Bill in his mind. He was even used to the sound of people moving upstairs. Stanley, Mable, Dipper. But now there was nothing but silence and Ford's mind screamed at the insanity." Ford is fine.

Summary

Summary
After the events of Dungeons, Dungeons, and more Dungeons, Dipper has a lot to think about. Or, as much as he can before he crashes, because wizards really wear you out, apparently.
