Welcome back to another fine year at Hogwarts! You'll be excited to know that the year is 2019, however... There are some issues. Overcrowding has become prevalent in wizarding schools; some children may not receive their education until the older students have thus moved on. Even we are finding it difficult. Hogwarts letters are also sometimes interrupted by silly little things (accidents with the owls as a recent example, with a strange muggle instrument called a "drone"). Other than that - things in the Wizarding community have been well! Except... well as you know in the past muggle born wizard status was odd, but now there are quite a lot. Not many pure wizards or older families are fond of this. Strange things have been happening here. Disappearances of not just students but staff as well. We have it under control. Aurors are on the case! Even our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor was an Auror for some time, Harry James Potter!
Despite this, I hope you will join us for another fantastic year!
