Summary
Climate change. For several weeks now, it has been the only story in the news. These days, increasing tides, rising sea levels, and climate change are always in the headlines. Additionally, the two global superpowers, Octasia and Ikasia, are increasingly at odds with one another on a worldwide scale. For citizens, the headlines have become increasingly alarming. To break news, journalists have been snatching up any information they can. Soon enough, for the fifth day in a row, the words "tensions" and "climate change" had featured in the same title. Last Wednesday, the unrelenting sea had fully overrun an island nation. This provoked violent protests in several nations, compelling the government to act rather than just watching the situation play out. Scientists are saying that the next countries on the ocean's hit list are Octasia and Ikasia. The president of Octasia says that in there is only space for two species, and if they don't move to another area, there will be war. The president of Ikasia says they need some time to think about it, but secretly issues an operation in Nautaul to take out oil drillers, which would make the Octarians take a step back in terms of building war vehicles.
