Summary
Ryo Kiritani is a worn-out salaryman sent from Tokyo to France on a temporary work assignment—a “reward” for his loyalty, or so they say. He doesn’t speak the language, doesn’t understand the culture, and has no desire to make connections.
But then he meets Vincent Fabron. First as a stranger on a plane, then as the boss of the very company he now works under.
