Cynthia sucked in a sharp breath. “That’s… what? You just…how do you even know she’s my daughter?”
Ariana ignored the question. “Sorry for going crazy earlier” she bit her lip. “I thought you were gonna introduce me to some Italian goddess you’d fallen for,” she let out a cough of embarrassment.
“So the options are: you magically knew she was mine, or you’re more worried I’d drag home a random woman Ive met in Italy?” Cynthia’s brow bone arched.
Ariana shrugged and flicked her hair over her shoulder. “Italian girls are skanks. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if one tried to sink their claws into you while you were vulnerable.” She said getting worked up again.
“You’ve gone mad, baby girl” Cynthia laughed under her breath. “I can barely handle the Italian spitfire that’s already in my life. Why would I willingly add another?”
Ariana looked up smug.
