Raven Reyes arrives thirteen days into their time on the ground, all high angles and confident smiles. They try desperately for three days, but the Ark doesn’t talk to them.
Peace with the Grounders is secured by the time they’ve been on the ground for three weeks. Anya takes one look at Clarke and decides they’re not a threat, despite the mishap with the flares, despite the way they’d treated Lincoln, despite everything.
They’ve been on the ground for less than two months when Clarke starts getting sick and realizes that she hasn’t had her period since before they landed.
She’s behind the dropship one morning, her blanket still wrapped around her shoulders, heaving into a bush, when Bellamy finds her. They just stare at each other for a moment, Clarke’s knees chafing on the frozen ground, Bellamy waiting for her to explain. She scrambles for an excuse, even takes a deep breath to talk, but ends up heaving into the dirt again. She closes her eyes, feels someone pulling the hair back from her face, and sighs.

Bellamy twists, his face contorted in agony as the hooded man presses hot metal to the side of his neck. And when he pulls it away, the symbol of the terrorist organization that his team has been hunting down for months is left branded into the side of Bellamy’s neck.
