Summary
Hizashi is always walked home by his significant other when he gets off the late shift. This time, they are interrupted.
Boots thud on the ground as soon as the door shuts with a loud clang. Where the boots had terrified him into shock in the past so long ago, they are comforting. Shōta drops from the building above and lowers the mask across his face, goggles pushing up into his hair and the scar that slants across the left half of his lips stretching with his soft smile.
