Gwyn wanted to kill something. Or for Mallol to give her forty lectures on the Maker's mercy. Apparently, she hadn't been listening.
"Do any humans live in Highever's alienage?" she asked her father. "Or any elves in Highever's other neighborhoods?"
After her father returns from a visit to Denerim with news of the alienage purge there and the deaths of six elves, Gwyn Cousland sees some things on a ride to Highever she has never seen before. But when she attempts to discuss them with Teryn Cousland, she learns again that effecting change is not as simple as it seems.
