Peter was stuck, unable to move, to run as the panic began to set in. The concrete was aching around his ankle and his shoulder screamed as Apocalypse twisted it. A crack, followed by a scream of anguish could be heard across the battle as his foot made contact with the back of his calf.
He could hear a familiar voice calling out for him, but still he remained trapped and screaming as his mind raced, trying to think of a way to escape from Apocalypse. Alas it was no use as Psylocke approached and raised her sword against him.
“Kill him.” Apocalypse said and Peter froze as Psylocke approached and quickly shut his eyes as the sword came up, waiting on the inevitable swing that would be his end.{Written for the House of Dadneto 2025 event: Peace, Restrained, Resemblance, Memories}
