Summary
It had been over a year since all remaining participants had left Squid Game when the majority of players voted X after playing mingle. Everyone in the Thanos group (except Gyeong-su for obvious reasons) had continued to live their life as normal.
After the Games, Se-mi found Min-su on Instagram and they stayed in touch, discovering they lived nearby. Min-su’s mornings were peaceful, spent with his cat before heading to work at a hospital pharmacy. On his commute, he listened to a strange rap song by an artist named Thanos, which felt oddly familiar. After a long shift, he decided to meet Se-mi at the nightclub where she was working that evening. Shortly after meeting Se-mi, Min-su runs into two familiar-looking faces that revive unpleasant memories.
