.Disclaimer: It’s been a while since I’ve been in the lmk fandom, I’m currently trying to rewatch and work with what I remember being basically new to the fandom again!! I still haven’t watched seasons 4 & 5 when they first came out, but I’ll try my best to not get too carried away and keep them a little accurate, this is my FIRST EVER fanfic outside of silly roleplays so hopefully I don’t do too bad (ㅅ´ ˘ `) my apologies and a heads up for any errors and mischaracterization. While trying to watch season 1, I decided to look for fics similar to this to keep up with but saw there was none, so I’m attempting a try at it!

Summary
Tang never wanted to be the Sage of Light and fight demons, as his older brother Tripitaka desired. A book and a tasty meal were enough for him to be happy, but his parents and brother were never happy about it. The war between humans and demons continues, but due to Tripitaka's actions the balance has been disturbed, and Monkie King has no intention of allowing anything to happen to his family. As a result of a series of events, misunderstandings and mistakes, Tang is drawn into the middle of the war - the only question is which side he will take and whether he will be able to survive with Monkie King clearly wanting his brother's blood, if he fails to save the family belonging to the demon. Fortunately, he will not have to toil over it on an empty stomach, thanks to one nasty but charming demon chef.

What makes a hero?
MK thought he knew.
A hero, to him, was someone who protected everyone. They put the world before themselves. They're the most selfless, kindhearted people you'll ever meet, saving innocent lives and sparing those that cross them.
But when a new threat rises, MK learns a harsh truth. Not every hero wins the day, and not everyone could be saved. Even the strongest falter, and the brightest lights often cast the darkest shadows.
And yet, not everything is lost. From honing strange new senses to wrangling newborn cubs, MK had grown into his life as a monkey demon, meeting others of his kind and learning their culture. He’s discovered something worth fighting for. These were his people, and this was his home.
But with that discovery comes a harsher lesson. To protect what’s most precious, you must sacrifice your morals. Sometimes, you can’t even protect yourself.
So when clouds gathered over Flower Fruit Mountain, and snow fell far too early, MK knew his world was about to change again.

The Princess of the Great Tiger Kingdom and her most loyal advisor who seems to share more than food supplies with short-tempered Monkey King. While majority of them bicker daily, they fail to notice a pair of keen eyes watching their every step.
A soulless demon rejected by the Heavens feared by humans. Sun Wukong must prove whether he truly is worthy obtaining sutras in the west. Will he overcome his pride and bloodlust? The sage looked down at her mate unimpressively, her eyebrows raising as she thought for a moment. “I think I want to savor this.” She cooed, her finger tips delving into her mate, earning a simple whine out of her plum lips.
Wukong purred loudly at the slight whine, pressing a kiss against her nose before she lay down just in front of her mate, resting between her well-toned thighs. “Such a delicacy.” She cooed, pink tongue delving out and lapping at the wet organ.
OR
Macaque is tied up as a sort of present for Wukong on her "birthday," and the sage can't help but want to experiment with something new.

The New Adventures story description: It's now 2025, and in the small town of Eastbrook, 20-year-old Mono Eastbrook, mainly known for surviving the Eastbrook murders, has been trying to build a time watch to travel to the past, present, and future. After he finishes making his time watch, he sends himself to Megaopolis, and now he's stuck there, working with the Monkie Kids to help save the town and his timeline.
