It's summer break, and Shining Armor is up to his elbows in stress. The crime rates in the Crystal Empire have skyrocketed with the new incoming tourists, and he has a lot more responsibilities in general with recently being crowned the king of the Crystal Empire. And, if the stress with work wasn't enough, his home life isn't much better. However, the opportunity for a break comes knocking at his door one night in the form of his little sister, Twilight Sparkle, when she informs him that he'll be needed for a friendship quest, and will have to leave the Crystal Empire as soon as possible. During the quest, though, Shining Armor finds that he must confront his undeniable attraction to, and eventual feelings for, a certain stallion he meets along the way. What will Shining Armor do when he has more stress than what he started with? And how will it affect him when he returns home after the quest?
