Summary
In all honesty, he seemed only a modicum less drunk than I was. The man I had known all my life would never lay into me with such unapologetic avarice or singular ferocity, not sober, not ever. I wished to pry open my gritty eyes and catch sight of the glossy, drunken glaze overtaking his tawny ones, but he'd ordered me not to, and I was far too enamored with him to refuse.
A drunken request murmured between lovers yields unexpectedly fruitful results.
