Summary
Three years have gone by since Hiccup left, and Astrid is sure she will never see him again… until she finds him trying to sneak into the village with his dragon, missing half a leg and claiming he needs to speak to her about something urgent. And when he tells her his plan, insane though it is, she can't do anything but agree to help him.
Hiccup's arrival brings not only a renewed hope of ending the raids for good, but also spells the beginning of an ever-tangling web of secrets, allies, and the growing feeling that the entire village may just be in over their heads.
