Youngbae says nothing, just hugs him tight before he pulls back, their hands still connected. He presses his index finger into Seunghyun’s chest, and gives him this long and indescribable look. It steals his breath a little, feels suitably terrifying and also incredibly forgiving. He hugs him again.
“Good to see you”, he murmurs into the crook of Youngbae’s neck.
“Yeah”, Youngbae says, and smiles, incredulous and soft “Yeah it is”.
And then, chin in his palm and legs crossed over, Jiyong’s eyes flicker to meet his. His presence is this physical, unignorable thing, even as Daesung asks how Seunghyun is, and Youngbae tells him they got him a beer, and he shucks off his coat. Jiyong’s all there is.
“Hi”, he manages, and it feels like it sucks the heat from the whole room.
Jiyong bites his lip, like his smile is some illicit thing. “Hi”.

Seunghyun’s breath left his lips in a defeated rush. Trapped, again. Jiyong was always backing him into proverbial corners he didn’t know how to escape.
“You don’t need me to answer that.” Seunghyun replied, his voice having gone soft and low. He knew how they must look right now, leaning into each other’s space in the middle of the set, but Seunghyun didn’t have the willpower to push Jiyong away. He never did.

Felix snorted, tapping the edge of the folder. “Figures. G.D. really knows how to ease a guy back into work after a break.”
“Break?” Jeongin scoffed. “You got shot at. Twice.”
“Semantics,” Felix said with a grin, that familiar gleam of excitement lighting his eyes. “Besides, it sounds like fun.”
