Boston, Massachusetts, October 1691.
John Proctor lives dejected due to the misfortune that his family has experienced since they settled in Salem. His crops have been affected by the early winter and his wife Elizabeth has fallen very ill. One day John Proctor finds by chance a picturesque house in the middle of a gloomy lane, whose young inhabitant kindly offers him help to relieve his family and especially his wife. John Proctor can't help but be amazed by the radiant presence of that kindly cute blond named Martin, not knowing that he is actually a wizard's apprentice, whose mentor, a wise old sorcerer, has predicted an everlasting sweet bond between them, as well as a great calamity to come.

John Proctor vive abatido debido al infortunio que vive su familia desde que se instalaron en Salem.
