Summary
A new commander to a certain base finds everything to be nice at first. The ships are kind, the base is beautiful, especially the cathedral, and his room has a wonderful view. What he isn't expecting is that three ships in particular have a secret plan... and they're going to set it in motion.

Summary
Jayce braced himself for the worst. A crushed throat. A snapped spine. Strange as it felt to admit, he knew that Viktor – this Viktor – could do it. Jayce had failed him.
What he hadn’t expected was for Viktor to quirk his thumb up and press it against the opening of his lips. Soft and insistent, the metal appendage pressed its way through, right until it bumped up against teeth.
The only thing that surprised Jayce more than the motion itself was how easily he let Viktor get away with it.
