Summary
Ren opens up to fellow alpha Doc about his feelings around his identity as an alpha, confessing that he's never really been that attached to the label, and that he's begun to think he would rather be an omega. Doc is more than happy to accept him as an omega, and this easy affirmation means more to Ren than he ever could have known.

Summary
Ren introduces himself as an omega to the rest of the Hermits for the first time, and while nervous at first, he soon learns that many of them understand and have gone through similar experiences as himself, and they happily embrace him and talk to him about their own identities. While Ren is fine with what he's done so far, he becomes interested in the idea of physical transitioning, and decides to look further into it himself. He's unsure about it, but is open to the possibility it'll make him happier. Regardless, he knows that Doc and the rest of the Hermits will support him every step of the way, no matter what he chooses.

Ren's transition has been going well, but now after a few months, his first heat has begun. It's intense and more than he expected, but Doc takes very good care of him and Ren greatly enjoys his attention. It might be rough, but at least now he knows what it's like, and with his beloved mate at his side, he'll be prepared to handle more heats going forward.
