Summary
A short story inspired by the NPCs of a D&D campaign.
Nara Bloodthorn has always prided herself on not needing help from anyone, but after being dropped from the sky by a roc, she is compelled to accept some from her adventuring party's steadfast paladin, Zanar Blackbriar. What starts as an intimate moment of healing turns into something more as the ranger and paladin give in to feelings they've both kept hidden for a long time. Will this be a fall Nara can ever recover from?
