The year is 2552. The Covenant have begun their assault on Earth. The battle for the Sol System is in full swing. The military bastion Reach has fallen to the Covenant. Untold millions perished in the fighting, devastating the UNSC and leaving its highest echelons of command reeling in the aftermath.
