Summary
To Wally Darling, Home is the fresh scent of paint that always radiates from his own Home, the fresh blue of Barnaby's shortened fur, and the very chaotic flaps of butterfly wings to roses and daffodils picked up on a wooden stage. Home is an oven that is still kindling baked cookies or a stamped letter with ink dots splotching the paper or even the rustle of a plastic bag filled with food. Home is warmth and this neighborhood is warmth.
Yet something was maybe missing.
