“Boq?” Elphaba called out warily, trying to be loud enough just so that he could hear, but not too loud that it could alert anything else. No answer. She cleared her throat, trying again,
“Boq—”
“Who’s Boq?”
Elphaba jumped. Between the crevices of two trees in front of her; Elphaba found herself staring up into vibrant, enticing eyes that glimmered a gloomy pink. The owner of the voice slunk out of the shadows as soon as she noticed Elphaba had spotted her, smiled a sweet smile which formed a dimple in her cheek and tilted her head gently.
