Summary
Cat-like alien Rita Kelani is the reliable navigator of the Universal Collective ship, the Bacchus. That is, reliable as long as she's not in heat. In the pilot episode of the Voyage of the Bacchus series, we meet the crew of the Bacchus, as one by one Rita uses her mind-control pheromone to give them what they most desire, all while convincing them to do her bidding, hijacking the ship to bring it back to her homeworld so she can mate. Navigator Chris Andrews is new on the ship, and so he hasn't experienced Rita's showstopping ability to get what she wants from absolutely anyone, alien and human alike. He is entirely unprepared when Captain Andrews goes to red alert and announces the dreaded 'Code Violet'.
