Summary
Crusty Carol never really had it easy. Suffering a miserable existence with her leprosy, only to fall apart and be reanimated years later, with an grotesque appearance that strikes terror in the eyes of many. As a result, she resided in a cottage, living with her pet Mouse, and using romance novels as an means of escape. She'd always wondered if she could be considered worthy of love, after all, who would love such a grotesque leprosy-ridden ragdoll like her?
That's what she always thought, until one night, *she* showed up.
