Summary
Despite how close they've become after meeting for Supernatural, Jensen and Jared have never considered each other as potential mates. But, once the suggestion comes up, they can't deny the chemistry that's between them. The only problem? Jared's harboring a secret that isn't easy to divulge. How do you convince someone that you're a werewolf without putting them in danger?
The secret is out when Jared slips up on their first night together, having temporarily misplaced the item that keeps him from turning. Jensen is thrown by the reveal and needs some time to absorb the news that (1) werewolves are real, and (2) his potential mate is a werewolf. What they both find is that their bond is just as powerful as that of the characters they play, and that they will do anything to protect each other.

Summary
When Jensen was eighteen his father got fired from his job of 27 years and snapped. He went on a murder spree that took the lives of all the people in the building. It ended with a shoot-off with the local police. His father was “killed on sight.”
His mother couldn’t handle what her husband had done and took her own life, slitting her wrists in the bathroom.
With the deaths of both his parents’ lives hanging over his head, along with the scorns of the town’s people, Jensen fled the small town of Massachusetts.
Five years later, he returns to sell his parents’ house. It was supposed to be a simple sign-off and sale, but Jensen manages to catch the attention of college boy Jared, who can’t seem to take a hint.
To make matters worse, a few days after his arrival, people start disappearing. Later discovered as being brutally murdered. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Jensen discovers the fantasy books aren’t as make-believe as he once believed when Jared claims he “imprinted” on him.

Jensen gets called in to make a delivery to one of the more rich, human estates in town, when the original team come down with the flu. The only problem is, it's supposed to be a "humans-only" gig. This delivery is more important that some rich bitch's biases, so Jensen's boss waves him in on the job, with a small reminder to act as human as possible.
It's not until Jensen gets to the estate that he realises instantly why it's supposed to be a humans-only job: there's a fellow Wolf on the premises - and someone has gone to great lengths to make sure that he has no idea what he is. -

Jensen has had most of his life to get used to the oddities of Deadwood Creek. He knows this place, and he knows his duties as the town’s guardian, and he’s happy to settle into a pattern of familiarity, holding those things close.
It’s all thrown a little off-kilter when an over-friendly werewolf rolls into town and becomes a part of Jensen’s life.
