Summary
Eve and Flynn know they'll most likely never become parents, not only because of the risk a child would pose in a magical library, but because their immortality makes it much more complicated. Not that they'd ever considered it before becoming parents. But one day, a year before anchoring, they experienced something similar to parenthood, if you can call it that, having to take care of librarian trainees who, for a time, were nothing more than an Australian baby, a very talkative ginger girl and a distrustful boy from Oklahoma just over nine years old.
