About two decades before the end of the Atlantean Wraith War, a scientist would create an ultimate weapon to fight against the Wraith. Super soldiers that were strong and intelligent enough to face the Wraith. They looked human, but when commanded, could change into large wolves. These creatures were called the Canidae. Their purpose was for war. They would sacrifice themselves at a notice and were loyal to a fault.
This is the story of one of the first Canidae and her experience with the enemy she was made to hate.

Inspired by this open prompt: : I always wondered how the events of Common Ground would go if Ladon and Atlantis team didn't figure out where the Kolya's base is.
Todd (who is not named yet) just gave John the Gift of Life. And now what? Search for the gate? Hide somewhere and hope Johns people will show up? Get back to base and try to assassinate Kolya? Find natural hot springs and finally take a bath? Go wild!
It can be Gen but I would much prefer undertones of something more from both of our boys -

Summary
The morning after John is rescued, Dave and John have a heart to heart about some of the things John wants to work on getting through so that he can be more emotionally available to Todd, and let himself be happy in the newfound relationship. Especially given the difficult to come-to-terms with loss that he’d experienced just last night. While he’s there, Dave gets the chance to meet his new nephew, and spend some family time with just the two of them before being joined by Todd and Rodney. There’s some slice of life elements and overwhelming cuteness from our favorite, chirpy little Wraithling. I did feel like the story needed a little breather while not diverging from the main plot too much, and that some things with John and Dave deserved some focus of its own.

Partly inspired by the Common Ground episode. Sheppard gets whumped and hates to know his friends could hear that. Some team moments too, there and there.

With limited options, aside from honourable discharge, her father pulls some strings to get her on an off world mission in the Pegasus Galaxy. While she would be millions of lightyears away, and fighting unknown enemies, in a war that's not hers, this might just be the only chance she's got at a normal life.

FIC REWRITE
Whilst on a mission to destroy a wraith nursery, John and Todd are attacked and stranded on a planet without a working stargate. Fortunately, a Hive in Todd's alliance picks up Todd's distress signal and comes to get them. Unfortunately. These wraith are as unfriendly and untrusting as all the rest - and Todd has a secret they cannot find out. Turns out, working with the Lanteans is not only strange but punishable by death. If the pair can't lie their way through their time aboard, they won't ever get home. John has no choice but to trust his dubious companion, and vice versa.
Easier said than done, but even imprisoned and heading toward certain death, Todd has a few tricks up his sleeve. They make a break for it and fall face-first into a journey that will fling them across the galaxy, further and further from safety and from what they both knew. Desperate to get back to their respective lives, John and Todd must embark on a long and dangerous quest with no hope for survival except each other.
Set in season five after "Search and Rescue" and before "The Queen"

S těžce bušícím srdcem se odhodlal svou paží vklouznout k Sheppardovu boku, díky čemuž ho objal. Kůže pod jeho dlaní se napjala a otřásla, zatímco muž zcela zkameněl. „Trpěl jsem, když jsem tě cítil tak blízko a zároveň se tě nemohl dotknout, Shepparde." Jmenovaný polekaně vytřeštil oči.
„P-proč by ses mě chtěl dotýkat? Když ne z důvodu se nakrmit, tak proč?" blekotal poplašeně. Připravil se, že sáhne po zbrani, ale jakákoli úvaha týkající se možného Toddova spoutání a zajetí se mu vykouřila z hlavy ve chvíli, kdy se jeho krmná ruka přimkla k podplukovníkově tváři a v jemném pohlazení se mu otřela o krátké strniště.
„Protože jsi mým druhem a já se s tebou toužím spojit od chvíle, kdy se naše osudy propletly v Kolyově vězení."Na základně se ztrácejí lidé, což však není Sheppardův největší problém, jak se zdá. Musí se rozhodnout, co je pro něj skutečně důležité.

Lieutenant, Kayna Neric, is on her first assignment at Atlantis. Her skills in combat landed her a position, guarding Todd the wraith, during a routine transport mission, to a remote outpost. The puddle jumper was attacked by a unknown source, and they are forced to land on a uncharted planet. Only two survive the landing, one Wraith and one Human. Just as the two survivors find comfort in one another, rescue comes and they are separated. The story will (so far) follow Kayna's journey, as she finds a strange acceptance, among Wraith.
