Summary
Varian stood in awe. His mind raced as he choked out a laugh, the cracks continuing to grow.
He hadn’t been wrong!
He hadn’t failed his father!
He’d won!
OR
Varian's plan succeeds—he uses the magic of Rapunzel's hair to free his father from the amber. However, he doesn’t anticipate that his father won’t wake up once it’s done. Desperate for answers, Varian digs deeper but only uncovers more questions about his father's past, along with an old map that might hold the key to saving him. The catch? He must leave Corona, and Rapunzel has to go with him.
(Basically a rewrite of season 2).
