Summary
After the events of the season one finale, Cheng Xiaoshi is left without his partner, Lu Guang, who had been the victim of a near-fatal stabbing incident. To make matters worse, he is forced to play a deadly game with an unknown entity while Lu Guang is stuck recovering in the hospital. With Lu Guang out of the picture, Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling are forced to rely on each other to find the person behind the increasing series of murders while dealing with their hidden trauma and somehow keep the studio up and running to pay of Xiaoshi's debt.
