Summary
She stared at the little piece of paper in her hand, her heart breaking into a million pieces. It was really real. This was really happening. She’d known for ages, really… but she hadn’t been ready to accept it, so she pushed it out of her mind as much as she could and told herself that she’d deal with it when the time was right. She’d gotten so used to ignoring it that she’d almost almost forgotten about it. It had become distant and faded like a half-remembered dream.
Talia is an optimistic soul who has always had a special bond with her Uncle Shiro and wants him to be happy... but sometimes emotions don't really match up with logic... and sometimes the reality of her life just hurts. Thankfully, she's surrounded by loving, supportive people who are more than willing to help her work through the tough stuff to get to the good.
