Summary
He’s overcome with a mixture of nervousness and excitement, but it’s mostly the latter; this hadn’t been a spontaneous decision, but carefully planned and meticulously dictated, so he supposes that it’s been a long time coming. For the past few minutes, he’s been too restless to sit still, resorting to walking around his house and wringing his hands.
