He truly does. However, he does not appreciate sending his wounded father to war even if the emperor was the one who ordered it. Jungwon won’t have it. So despite being from the lowest designation in the a/b/o hierarchy, he sneaks himself into war.
If diplomatic relations can fix something, there is no need to send alphas to war, be they old or young. But if war is required, then the oldest should take their parent’s place. However, Jungwon is an only child, so what choice does he have but to enlist himself in the imperial army? If the emperor is against it, then so be it!
