Ya see, I didn’t get stranded here on purpose. There was a storm. A real big one.
Something came out of the dark and hit me. Knocked me clear off my feet, ripped my hand out of Steve’s.
I passed out sometime between then and the MAV taking off.
It was the high oxygen alert that finally woke me up.
Bucky Barnes finds himself stranded on Mars, presumed dead, his crew and ship gone, with no communications and a Hab intended to last a month. Every ounce of his botany degree, engineering skills, and capacity to improvise will be needed to survive an inhospitable planet and see the love of his life again.
No knowledge of The Martian necessary to enjoy!
